Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 July 2026
Welcome to ReverseThrift. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ReverseThrift website, apps and services (the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. The service
ReverseThrift is a reverse marketplace. Buyers post requests describing goods or services they want, and sellers respond with offers. ReverseThrift facilitates discovery, communication and payment between buyers and sellers but is not a party to the underlying transactions unless stated otherwise.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Platform. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
3. Buyer responsibilities
- Post requests that are lawful, accurate and made in good faith.
- Honour accepted offers and complete payment through the Platform’s checkout.
- Confirm receipt promptly so that escrow-held funds can be released fairly.
4. Seller responsibilities
- Only offer goods and services you are able to lawfully provide.
- Describe offers accurately, including price, condition, delivery time and warranty.
- Fulfil accepted offers as described and within the stated timeframe.
5. Prohibited items & conduct
You may not use the Platform to trade illegal, counterfeit, stolen, hazardous or otherwise restricted items, or to harass, defraud or deceive other users. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Payments, fees & escrow
Amounts are shown in Nepalese Rupees (NPR). Posting requests and receiving offers is free. A platform fee applies to completed orders and is disclosed at checkout. Where escrow is used, funds are held by ReverseThrift and released to the seller once the buyer confirms the order or upon resolution of a dispute.
7. Disputes & refunds
If a transaction goes wrong, you may open a dispute from the order page. Our team may review evidence from both parties before releasing or refunding escrow-held funds. Our decisions in disputes are made in good faith and are final for Platform-mediated transactions.
8. Reviews & content
You retain ownership of content you post but grant ReverseThrift a licence to display and distribute it on the Platform. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences from real orders.
9. Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReverseThrift is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of buyers and sellers.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
